Mega Millions Jackpot Hits $227M After Friday Drawing Miss

No Big Winners Yet: Mega Millions Jackpot Climbs to $227M

Nobody hit the big grand prize in Friday night’s Mega Millions drawing, which means the grand total keeps on stacking up. The jackpot is now sitting at a massive $227 million heading into the Tuesday drawing.

Friday’s draw had a solid $209 million on the line, or roughly $89.7 million if the winner took the lump sum. But the lucky numbers, 3, 30, 33, 53, and 62, plus the gold Mega Ball 22, didn’t match up on a single ticket. In fact, nobody even landed all five white balls to score a million-dollar runner-up prize. A handful of players did walk away with decent cash, though. One ticket scored $20,000 thanks to a 2x Megaplier option, and two other players scored $30,000 each after picking up a 3x multiplier.

Because the main prize went unclaimed, the grand total rolled over once again. Whoever manages to hit the winning combo on Tuesday gets to choose between the $227 million annuity over 30 years or an immediate $96.3 million cash payout. If the jackpot rolls over just one more time, that lump sum payment will easily cross the $100 million threshold.

So far, 2026 has already seen three jackpot winners, including a mind-boggling $800 million score in Florida. But the lottery heat isn’t just about the main draw. Over in Massachusetts, a lucky buyer just snagged an absurd $25 million win from a single $25,000,000 MEGA MONEY scratch-off card. Down in Texas, a fortunate player finally stepped forward to claim a cool $26.75 million jackpot payout.

Ticket sales for Tuesday’s drawing close right before the balls drop, giving everyone one more shot to land life-changing money.

In 2004, he sold everything he owned, including clothes, to gamble $135,300. After betting on red, Revell doubled his money to $270,600 after the ball ended up on 7. After receiving funding from a British online bookmaker, Revell changed his name to "Ashley Blue Square Revell" and started an online poker company called Poker UTD. Without Sky One's Double or Nothing reality show, Revell's life-changing moment would have been lost in anonymity. Viewers helped Revell decide between red and black. Having bet everything on Black, the Brit would have flipped at the last minute and placed his bet on Red instead, which would have drastically altered the outcome. “There were only seconds left before I lost everything I had. In order to fund this crazy bet, I sold everything I owned and could not have left Las Vegas with anything more than my hired tuxedo.” After winning the life-changing prize, the 32-year-old founded his own poker company, Poker UTD. The venture ended up being short-lived, and he was eventually able to use the remaining funds to fund a motorbike trip across Europe, where he met his future wife as well. As an avid gambler, Ashley Revell has a deep knowledge and understanding of the gambling industry. He is also passionate about helping others and sharing that knowledge with them to make informed decisions. For that, the creation of the JackpotInside project becomes the perfect opportunity.
