William Hill is a high-street word and two Commission files that people collapse into one login. I opened williamhill.com in October 2026. The title bar sold a sports welcome. The carousel also sold a Vegas welcome. The footer named WHG (International) Limited, Suite 601/701 Europort, Gibraltar, account 39225, a wholly owned subsidiary of evoke plc. Jackpot Drop still sat in the “More from William Hill” rail. That last fact is not a decoration.
I am reviewing the GB online casino product. I am not reviewing a LBO on the high street. I am not reviewing William Hill Global PLC’s Malta MGA line for customers outside Great Britain. I am not inventing a 24-hour cashout I did not time.
Disclosure. I may be paid if you sign up via links. That does not buy the 7.3, and it does not flatten 39225 into 2752. 18+. You can lose.

Online 39225 is not shops 2752
The related searches are a mess of two products:
- William Hill login / app — the remote account, or the shop Wi-Fi page.
- William Hill bonus / 200 free spins / WHV200 — the Vegas welcome.
- William Hill shops / locator — premises on a different licence.
- Is William Hill legit / UKGC — yes, twice, for two legal persons.
Great Britain online play is WHG (International) Limited, Gibraltar company 99191, Suite 601/701 Europort, Europort Road, Gibraltar GX11 1AA. Look it up on the Public Register, account 39225. Trading name recorded: william hill online, Active. Domain www.williamhill.com: Active. Premises: none.
Remote activities on the live summary, October 2026:
| Activity | Status | From |
|---|---|---|
| Bingo | Active | November 2014 |
| Casino | Active | November 2014 |
| Gambling software | Active | March 2015 |
| General betting, real event | Active | November 2014 |
| General betting, virtual event | Active | November 2014 |
| Pool betting | Active | November 2014 |
If the footer does not say WHG (International) and 39225, you are not on the GB remote. Stop. The same page also names William Hill Global PLC in Malta for customers outside GB, NI, Ireland, Jersey and Gibraltar, and WH Ireland Limited for Ireland. Those lines cover other markets. They do not replace 39225 for a British punter.
Shops: William Hill Organization Limited, account 2752, William Hill Bookmakers, 1 Bedford Avenue, London. Non-remote betting and pool, plus some remote activities. Premises by the thousand. Trading names and shop fascia are a different complaints path. Do not paste 2752 onto williamhill.com. Do not email the shop area manager about a Vegas cashout. Do not assume a self-exclusion at a door is automatically a remote GAMSTOP, or the reverse, unless evoke’s own multi-channel tools say so. Ask in writing.
A punter who uses both will keep mixing the two. The shop is cash, slip, counter, a manager you can see. The remote is an app, a Vegas tab, a KYC email at 11pm. evoke’s public lesson on group identity is about sister online brands. It is not automatically a statement that a shop exclusion is a 39225 exclusion. The opposite error is just as common: a remote GAMSTOP that the counter has not been told about. If you needed the whole house to stop, GAMSTOP is the market-wide remote tool. A shop ban is a shop ban. Write it down. Do not assume the fascia did it for you.
evoke plc is listed in London. The consumer brands still use the old names: William Hill, 888casino, 888sport, 888poker, Mr Green. Sister 888 UK Limited 39028 is the 888casino file on this site’s other card. The August 2025 customer-identification penalty is why that sentence exists.
Victoria Coren Mitchell’s line still does the work on a high-street logo: casino games sit at unfavourable odds. A shop on the corner does not improve a slot’s expectation. It dresses it.

WHV200 is the casino tile. R30 is not.
The homepage in October 2026 put two new-customer tiles in the same carousel. After January 2026 those are two products. You pick one. Mixed-product pots covering casino and sports in a single incentive are banned. William Hill is still a book and a casino on one URL. That does not merge the welcomes.
Vegas — code WHV200
Live strip I could read:
- New UK customers only. Ends December 2026.
- Register with code WHV200, opt in via the promo page.
- Within 7 days, deposit £10+ and stake £10+ from the main balance on the advertised game.
- 200 free spins at 10p each.
- Spins expire 72 hours from credit.
- Winnings must be wagered 10× on the advertised game within the same period.
- Winnings capped at £30.
- One per person.
Face value of 200 × 10p is £20, after you have already deposited and staked £10. The exit is not cash. It is a £30 cap and a 10× on one advertised title, on a 72-hour clock. After January 2026, 10× is the legal ceiling for bonus funds. William Hill is using the ceiling, then adding a cap and a short expiry. That is allowed. It is not generous. Worked arithmetic on a full £30 converted win: £30 × 10 = £300 through the advertised game, at whatever max bet the full T&Cs set, inside 72 hours. That is a job, not a present.
Sports — code R30
Title bar and second tile: deposit £10+, stake £10 at odds of 1/2 or bigger on a sports market, get £30 in free bets as 3 × £10. Excludes Virtuals. Free bets expire in 7 days, non-withdrawable. PayPal, Neosurf, Paysafecard, Apple Pay, NETELLER, Skrill, ecoPayz, Kalibra/Postpay and WH PLUS Card excluded on that strip. I am not scoring R30 as the casino welcome. I am naming it so you do not claim both.
Wallet carve-outs on the sports tile are a tell. Check WHV200’s full T&Cs for the same list. VERIFY ON OPERATOR. NETELLER and Skrill are routinely carved out of evoke welcomes. If you wanted the spins, do not fund the first deposit with a rail the T&Cs exclude.
No retrospective if you miss the code. WHV200 on registration, opt in, then deposit. Do it the other way round and you will be in chat for nothing.
Liv Boeree’s 2025 dopamine line fits a 72-hour, 10p, named-game bundle better than it fits a 90-day 10× grind. The cap is the honest part. Twenty pounds of spinning for a thirty-pound ceiling is entertainment packaging. It is not a reason to raise a deposit limit.
Existing-player noise on the same homepage: Jackpot Drop, Exclusive Slots, Live Casino. Retention toys. Read the malfunction clause before you opt into Drop. That clause is why the next section exists.
Bonus fairness on this card is 7.4. Named, dated, 10×, capped. Lawful. Tight. 888’s HELLO200FS is a cousin. PlayOJO’s 0× is a different religion.

£82,687 in August 2025, and the older £19.2 million
I opened the sanctions tab for 39225 in October 2026. The live row is a financial penalty. Decision: August 2025. Outcome: financial penalty of £82,687.
The Commission investigated a key-event submission by WHG (International) Limited outside a licence review. Finding: failure to comply with paragraph 3 of SRCP 3.9.1 — identification of individual customers, remote. The condition requires a corporate licensee to treat a customer who holds accounts across group companies as one person. The licensee self-identified the breach, reported it, took remedial action, and co-operated. Self-reporting is not a pardon. The Commission still fined them.
That is the same theme as 888 UK Limited’s August 2025 identification penalty on 39028. Same plc. Same lesson. Signing up to William Hill because an 888 account was closed is not a new life. GAMSTOP on one GB remote brand is GAMSTOP on the rest. evoke already has a public lesson on group identity. If you hold 888 and then open the Hill, do not be surprised when the file treats you as one person. That is what the 2025 condition was for.
Historic, and still disclosed because people Google it: March 2023 package £19.2 million across WHG (£12.5m), Mr Green (£3.7m), and William Hill Organization shops (£3m). Previous ownership / Caesars-era review, 888 acquisition July 2022. I am treating that as history, not as a second live 39225 row, unless the actions tab reprints it. The tab I opened in October 2026 was the £82,687 SRCP 3.9.1 file. Directories that mash £19.2 million into a 2026 headline as if it were last month’s invoice are doing the punter a disservice.
What you should take from 2023 is narrower. The group has been here before. WHG had a large social-responsibility and AML bill under previous ownership. evoke bought the name. The 2025 identification penalty is a further WHG file, not a recap of Caesars. If you are reading a 2023 round-up and thinking the slate was wiped, the August 2025 row is why it was not.
Sarah Gardner’s July 2026 line on staged Financial Risk Assessments is the market overlay. High spenders in difficulty should be supported. Everyone else should not be drowned in paperwork. William Hill already has a public lesson on group identity. Affordability letters will still feel like William Hill if your file is the one that gets them.
| File | Legal person | What I will say | What I will not say |
|---|---|---|---|
| August 2025, £82,687, SRCP 3.9.1, self-reported | WHG 39225 | Live row on the online account | A shop fine |
| March 2023, £19.2m group package | WHG / Mr Green / WHO shops | Previous-ownership history | A second live 39225 duplicate I did not see |
| Shops 2752 | William Hill Organization | High-street company | The operator of williamhill.com |
UKGC on this card is 7.0. Live 2014 activities, a modest 2025 self-report, a historic group package, and a March 2026 overlay failure. It is not 888’s three-penalty two years. It is not a clean Flutter games brand.
Jackpot Drop is still on the homepage
In March 2026 a shared Jackpot Drop overlay on the evoke platform credited sums that the operator later said were not generated through valid gameplay. William Hill and 888 were both in the coverage. Accounts were locked. The game was pulled. Recovery letters followed. Some withdrawn amounts were the subject of an 11 per cent retain-and-sign offer. Players disputed it. Trade press covered it. evoke did not, in that coverage, confirm every circulating hit-count. I am treating the malfunction and the clawback as fact. I am not treating unverified six-figure tweets as a jackpot table.
EGR Intel’s March 2026 write-up is the trade-press source this site already uses on the 888 card. William Hill T&Cs, quoted in that week’s coverage, give the operator the right to void malfunction wins even if similar amounts could have occurred without the glitch. That is why the clause exists. It is also why Trustpilot filled up in March.
In October 2026 the williamhill.com homepage still carried a Jackpot Drop join tile. Whether the live mechanic is the same product that broke in March is a T&C question. Read the malfunction clause before you opt in. A licensed operator may void a glitch. A licensed clawback is still a clawback.
Exclusive Slots, Live Casino and Sports sat in the same rail. Exclusive is marketing. Live is product. Sports is the book. Use the Vegas tab if you wanted this review. Use the sportsbook if you wanted R30. Do not expect WHV200 to fund an acca.
RNG fairness is the licence baseline. Jackpot weighting is a T&C question. Confirm the advertised game on WHV200 before you treat 200 spins as a Jackpot King ticket. Caps and selected-game lists exist to stop that.
The Vegas tab is the casino this review is for. Live Casino sits next to it. Bingo and Poker sit in the same bar. Sports is the book that still pays the bills in the public mind. A punter who types “William Hill casino” and lands on football is not lost. They are on a combined URL that evoke has not split. 888casino is the casino brand next door. 888sport is the book next door to that. William Hill is the high-street name that never separated the two in the consumer’s head. The January 2026 mixed-product rule is why the carousel now has to say Vegas or Sports, not both in one pot. The rule did not make the lobby smaller. It made the welcome honest.
Games on the Vegas side are why the name still searches: a full GB aggregator set, live tables, branded slots, the Drop overlay, exclusives. I did not count titles. I did not need to. Heritage depth is the product. A dry session in Vegas is not a reason to tap Sports for “balance.” It is a reason to stop. Coren Mitchell’s unfavourable-odds line is about the casino tab. An acca is a different argument. Do not launder a slot session through a football coupon because the logo is the same.
March 2026 also left a practical instruction. If a Drop credit appeared, then disappeared, keep the emails. IBAS is the licensed ADR after the in-house process. A malfunction clause is not a rumour. It is the document the recovery letter will point at. I am not your solicitor. I am telling you the clause exists because evoke already used it.
Rails, apps, and the shop halo
I did not run a timed cashout. The sports welcome strip names a long list of excluded deposit rails, which is evidence those rails exist on the cashier even when they do not qualify for R30: PayPal, Apple Pay, Paysafecard, NETELLER, Skrill, Neosurf, ecoPayz, Kalibra/Postpay, WH PLUS Card. Debit cards are the GB default. Credit cards remain banned for remote play since April 2020. Closed-loop applies. Apple Pay is usually deposit-only.
iOS and Android apps are advertised on the homepage. Shop locator sits in the footer. That is brand context. It is not 2752 operating the Vegas tab. If the app-store listing and the website footer ever disagree on WHG (International) 39225, believe the footer and walk.
Banking on this card is 7.8. Broad rails, including PayPal, a heritage operator, and a cashier I will not call fast without a timestamp. Paddy Power Games still wins the weight because Pay by Bank is a published path. William Hill is the high-street cashier with evoke’s processing culture. KYC sits in front of the first payout. Source-of-wealth sits behind larger cashouts. FRAs, staged from July 2026, are the Commission’s overlay. They are not a William Hill invention. They will still feel like William Hill if your file is the one that gets the letter.
From September 2026 licensees must offer limits that are actually named deposit limits. Use them before WHV200, not after the third Drop opt-in. Reality checks, time-outs and self-exclusion should sit in the Safer Gambling Hub. IBAS is named in the footer as the bookmaker ADR. Complaints still go through the operator first.
Support is 7.4. Message us, Help, Safer Gambling Hub. I did not time a ticket. March 2026 did not help the queue. Group-account friction exists because the 2025 penalty said it did.
Games are 8.4. That is the high mark on the card. Vegas, live, bingo, poker, a sportsbook that actually is a sportsbook, Jackpot Drop as a (now notorious) overlay. Deep GB catalogue. The product is why the name still searches. The file is why the overall is 7.3 rather than 8.
Player reputation is 6.2. I could not load Trustpilot for www.williamhill.com in October 2026: 403. I am not inventing 1.3 from an 888 scrape. I am not inventing 4.0 from a shop widget. The 6.2 exists because evoke’s 2025–26 complaint pattern — withdrawals, locked accounts, verification after the fact, Drop clawbacks — is the pattern this URL shares. When the live profile loads, the 6.2 will have to argue with it.
The shop halo still inflates the name. People trust a counter they have used for twenty years. The remote file is not the counter. KYC on 39225 can still ask for the same passport the shop never wanted. Source-of-wealth on a Vegas cashout can still feel like an accusation when the fascia on the high street cashed you without a scan. That friction is not a glitch. It is two licences. Complete verification before you need the money. Keep copies. Do not plan a household bill around a first WH Vegas payout, and do not plan it around a Drop credit either.
888’s published cashier on this site’s other card starts at three business days of processing for ordinary accounts. I did not get a William Hill table as clean as that in this pass. I will not paste 888’s Visa-up-to-eight-days line onto 39225 as if I re-timed it. Heritage evoke processing is the family resemblance. Paddy’s Pay by Bank help still tells you to allow about 90 minutes the first time, then instant, with a first-deposit hold of up to 24 hours on that rail. Different sentences. Different failure modes. If your bank is slow, Paddy’s published first-time hold is the adult version of instant. If the operator is slow, William Hill has not offered to put £10 on it. I would still complete KYC on both before I needed the money.
Who this is for
I would use William Hill online if I wanted a long-standing GB lobby, a real sportsbook next to Vegas, and a high-street name I already know how to read, and I was willing to live with a 10× / £30 / 72-hour welcome and a group that has spent two years in public on identity and overlays.
I would not use it as a speed cashier. I would not use it because a directory still prints 40× or “no wagering” on 200 spins. I would not open it to dodge an 888 or Mr Green flag. I would not opt into Jackpot Drop without reading the malfunction clause. I would not paste 2752 into a complaint about a Vegas cashout.
Who I left out of the banner on purpose: Sky Casino (Flutter, 8.3, different file). PlayOJO (0×, independent). Grosvenor (rooms plus remote). Unlicensed “William Hill” clones. They are the SERP tax on a famous Hill.
Would I play here with my own money? Yes, as a working heritage account, after KYC, with a deposit limit set, without treating WHV200 as value. No, as a first UK casino if I wanted kinder terms or a cleaner 2026 file. In my book that is Paddy or PlayOJO.
How I scored this page
Same six weights as the rest of the site. Applied late so the file could speak first.
How I rate UK casinos
Every brand on this site is scored /10 on the same six factors. A commercial relationship can pay for the review. It does not buy the ranking.
“ PAYOUTS & BANKING 25% UKGC RECORD & PLAYER PROTECTION 20% PLAYER REPUTATION 20% BONUS FAIRNESS 15% GAMES & PRODUCT 10% SUPPORT & ACCOUNT EXPERIENCE 10% “
Gate: UKGC licence (live or temporarily suspended). Offshore operators are out.
Last tested: October 2026 · Register: gamblingcommission.gov.uk · Player sources: Trustpilot (403 this pass)
| Factor | Weight | What William Hill actually scored on |
|---|---|---|
| Payouts & banking | 25% | Broad rails including PayPal; heritage cashier; not timed as Paddy Pay by Bank |
| UKGC record & player protection | 20% | Live 39225 since 2014; £82,687 August 2025 SRCP 3.9.1; historic £19.2m; Jackpot Drop week |
| Player reputation | 20% | Trustpilot 403; evoke complaint pattern; Drop clawbacks in the memory |
| Bonus fairness | 15% | WHV200: £20 in 10p spins, then 10× on a £30 cap, 72-hour clock |
| Games & product | 10% | Deep GB lobby, live, bingo, poker, a real sportsbook. The high mark on the card |
| Support & account experience | 10% | Hub exists; group-account friction exists; March 2026 did not help |
Worked example:
- Banking 7.8 × 0.25 = 1.95
- UKGC file 7.0 × 0.20 = 1.40
- Reputation 6.2 × 0.20 = 1.24
- Bonus 7.4 × 0.15 = 1.11
- Games 8.4 × 0.10 = 0.84
- Support 7.4 × 0.10 = 0.74
Total 7.28, shown as 7.3. Verdict: a working heritage brand with an evoke file and a Drop week. It is not a category leader on this site. It is not 888 with a different hat only — 888 is 7.2 on a scarred two years. The Hill is a point higher because the live 2025 row is smaller and the product is broader. It is not a pardon.
Gate: UKGC live. Checked October 2026.
FAQ
Safer play
Set a deposit limit before the first spin. From September 2026 licensees must offer limits that are actually named deposit limits. William Hill’s public Safer Gambling Hub already talks that language, plus reality checks, time-outs and self-exclusion.
If you need to stop: GamCare 0808 8020 133, GAMSTOP, Gordon Moody, NHS gambling support. Operator strips may still name BeGambleAware. That consumer service closed March 2026. Use the list above.
This is a review of a licensed operator, not advice to test Jackpot Drop with money you cannot spare. You can lose.
